Migrating to ChatGPT-4o mini

overview

The standard model of text chat equipped with ChatGPT has been shifted from GPT-3.5 tubo to GPT-4o mini.

The GPT-4o mini now allows the uploading of images, which was not possible with the previous GPT-3.5 , and has significantly improved accuracy.

The graph below compares the performance of each AI model (GPT-3.5, GPT-4o mini, GPT-4o). As you can see from the graph, GPT-4o mini is overwhelmingly superior to GPT-3.5. It also does not reach the performance of GPT-4o.

1. MMLU : Modeled language comprehension for a range of subjects including mathematics, history and science.
2. GPQA : General Practical Question Answering Skills.
3. DROP : Ability to read whole paragraphs and engage in numerical and discrete reasoning.
4. MGSM : Ability to solve elementary school level mathematics problems.
5. MATH : Problem-solving skills across a range of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and calculus.
6. HumanEval : Ability to generate program code.
7. MMMU : Ability to understand tasks involving multiple data formats such as text, images, and audio.
8. MathVista : Capabilities including visual math problems and analysis.

With the introduction of GPT-4o mini, GPT-3.5 will no longer be available, but you can continue to use GPT-4o mini without any restrictions.

From now on, you can choose between the unlimited use of GPT-4o mini and the more accurate GPT-4o depending on your needs.

In addition, with this update, the number of characters that can be sent in chat at one time has increased from 6,000 to 40,000.

How to use

• From [Account Settings], select [Model to use] > [GPT-4o mini] and press [Change].

UI Fixes

Chat screen

[Copy] button

AI answers now have a "Copy" button, allowing you to quickly paste them into other documents.

[Retry] deleted

The "Retry" button, which would generate an AI answer for the same question again, has been removed.

If you want to generate it again, please make a copy of the question.

Smartphone screen optimization

We have adjusted the layout and margins of the mobile screen to improve visibility, making it even more comfortable to use on a mobile device.
