Moved to France in 2009, graduated from Paris fashion school Studio Berçot, and then worked at Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Responsible for commercial line and haute couture collection designer. Afterwards, she assisted Kenzo Takada, who founded KENZO, as a women's collection/knit designer.

In 2019, she launched the custom-made brand SAYURI TANEI from the experience and inspiration she gained in Paris. Currently, he works on designs and made-to-order products for MADE IN PARIS – TOKYO while traveling between Paris and Tokyo.
